OSHA Safety Training
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) directs employers to train employees in all safety and health matters pertinent to their job duties and work environment. Many of OSHA’s standards make it the employer’s responsibility to limit certain job assignments to those who are “certified”, “competent”, or “qualified”. This means the worker must be effectively and specifically trained. The course also provides information regarding workers' rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint. BDN’s OSHA Outreach courses are designed to supplement many of those requirements under the OSHA regulations for Construction.
